The story of Nolberto López is deeply rooted in his family’s legacy of coffee. His journey began in his youth when he worked alongside his uncles who were coffee growers in the Opatoro region. It is here where Nolberto began learning every stage of cultivation and harvest. With this foundation, he took his first independent step by purchasing two hectares of land from his grandfather, Julián López Martinez.
The Opatoro region is known for its fertile soils, altitudes, and climate that favours the production of specialty coffee. His farms are planted with a mix of varieties carefully selected for both quality and resilience. His cultivation practices emphasize proper shade management, soil conservation, and selective harvesting.
What sets Nolberto apart is not only his passion for coffee but also the impact he creates in his community. His farms generate both direct and indirect employment with a special focus on hiring women during harvest who selectively pick only the ripest
